I’m not a UX Designer, and neither are you

I like to think of myself as an Interaction Designer, which is of course is nothing more than an Interface Designer which in turn is, well, a Designer. I am not an artist, I am not a wizard, I am a problem solver. ‘All’ I do is structure and organize content so it can be absorbed best by a set of users using tools like layout, colour, typography and technology. If this sounds degrading to our trade, than I’m sorry. I take great pride in being an Interaction Designer and seeing people effectively interact with user interfaces I designed makes me happy. I am a Designer.
Great article.
