Kids in the Kitchen Recipe - Apple Crumble

8 medium sized apples (local Canadian preferred)

1/2 cup melted butter

1+1/2 cup rolled Oats

2/3 cup whole wheat flour (or gluten free flour, or oat flour)

1/4 cup brown whole sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Preparations:

Preheat oven to 350'(degrees). You may choose to peel apples or leave the skins on. Cut from core and dice. Place in 9x9 pan in a single layer.

Place all other ingredients into large bowl and mix well until crumble consistency. Spread mixture onto apples, in an even layer.

Place pan onto middle rack and bake for 30–40 min.

Let cool. Enjoy on its own or with vanilla ice cream!
