What is Baby Solana, who is Baby Solana?
Baby Solana was started as an idea by ViralDecay, and fleshed out through help of friends in July 2023.
Baby Solana is a token on the Solana Blockchain that was launched on July 14th, 2023. We launched originally with a 1B Total Supply, 900M of which has since been burned. The original vision for Baby Solana from day one is to create an ecosystem that makes regular Solana transactions cheaper, and to provide utility on the same level as Layer 1 Solana.
After much deliberation, discussion, and difficult nights talking with colleagues, we came up with the perfect idea. Nibbles: A platform which would allow users to create sub-tokens on the Baby Solana token.
The vision for Nibbles will allow users to create any kind of token that they can with the parent Solana chain, but on Baby Solana itself. This will allow for token creation, swaps, and the creation of token markets to be conducted cheaper than they would be on the Solana chain itself.
