Madea – A Tyler Perry Concept
I don’t know if I want to be conversational or motivational about this particular subject matter. It really hurts me when I see people who don’t know their full potential. I’m sure at the end of this write-up, you should be able to decide how this piece is to you. Do you believe you are indeed made for more and can actually achieve more than you can ever think or imagine? We human beings tend to limit our abilities to a scope of our lives. The fear of the unknown hurts our mindset really bad. For example, the other day I was listening to a particular lady on a tv show and she was expressing herself stating that she doesn’t have to wait for anyone to actualize whatever she feels her heart is telling her to do. She sets her heart on something and accomplishes it immediately without even waiting for someone to drown her goals. She describes herself as being a very focused person and a goal-getter. Imagine if we can all be like that and stop limiting ourselves which brings me to MADEA. This evening I watched one of the Madea series and I exclaimed. The Madea series was the idea of just one man who fell in love with writing thereby creating different characters. And it was also recently I heard he’s the first black American to have a film studio. Can you believe that? When I heard of this then, I was in awe of this man. How could someone have this kind of vision and actualize it? I read up about him tonight and found out he didn’t complete high school but earned a GED. So please what are we waiting for? Am I wrong to say this man is a billionaire and it’s not even about the money? He’s fulfilled as a person. Whatever is worth doing at all, is what doing well. Tyler Perry made himself more than he is. He believed in himself and accomplished that MORE that is inside him. Please note he refers to himself as a Christian. What can we achieve in this world without God? How do begin to understand the MORE within us without believing? There’s more within us than we can imagine. In the movie I saw tonight, Tyler Perry played three different characters altogether. He was himself, he played his dad, and also Madea. What I’m trying to pinpoint in essence is for us to truly see ourselves in a different light that there’s more than the way I am. I can actually achieve more and be the best in which I am created. I can’t afford to be JUST who people think I am, I can achieve more. There are great ideas and visions inside of me that should be birthed. I AM MORE. Please meditate and reflect on what more you can achieve. And this concludes my day 4 of the 30 days of serendipity.
