I recently came across the term “continuous partial attention”. It refers to when you’re constantly paying attention to something (such as notifications coming on your phone) while doing other things.

It reminds me of a constant leak in productivity, because part of your attention is always focusing on something other than the task at hand. I find it a handy phrase to use when you catch yourself multitasking 😉
