This is marvelous! Please do more German lyrics in Lautsprache. Oh and don’t worry, imo most Germans will be fine with your bashing on the Schlager and the ones that won’t are the ones that normally don’t use the internet. Schlager long had a very distinct connotation with old people “Rentnermusik”, but in recent years the audience has shifted to the 40–50 range. The culprit for that most likely seems to be “Helene Fischer”.
I’m not sure if you are aware of that, but Schlager has a sub genre, which is strangely quite popular with young people, the “Partyschlager”. This one is a lot more catchy with focus on dance-able beats and the lyrics are more humorous with a focus on party, alcohol, sex and also utter nonsense. It basically is “Saufmusik” and you will find it on Karneval, German Beach Clubs and Bars on Mallorca and a lot of German discos. If you, for whatever reason, want to get a taste of that, here are some names to search for: Mickie Krause, Jürgen Drews, Markus Becker, Peter Wackel, Tim Toupet, Willi Herren, and so on and on. Be warned, you might want to fill your ears with concrete afterwards.
Just to be clear, I despise both genres deeply.
