Born in Marin County, California, I have a special attachment to place. I was also raised in New York City and London. My life has led me to live in Bristol, England, where my son was born, as well as Brattleboro, Vermont. My current residence is, once again, Marin. My life has been unusual with many radically different chapters. As I circle around my 6oth birthday I'm coming to terms with all the seasons of my life and the people that I have loved and lost. I'm gradually feeling my way into feeling comfortable writing the 'hard stuff'.
