Bahrain Sends Additional Humanitarian Assistance to Yemen

A delegation led by the Royal Charity Organisation’s (RCO) Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed left Bahrain for Aden International Airport to deliver the second consignment of relief assistance to the Yemeni people. The aid is meant to provide food and medical supplies to meet the basic needs and alleviate the suffering of those in Yemen who are living in difficult conditions.

Dr. Al Sayed commended the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa as Chairman of the board of trustees in leading the charity and the philanthropic work undertaken by the RCO. The charitable NGO is further supported by its Honorary President, HM King Hamad bin Essa, HRH Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad and the Prime Minister HRH Khalifa bin Salman.

HM King Hamad, Honorary President of the RCO, gave the directive to provide relief assistance and to support those in need in Yemen and other conflict zones.

In response, Yemeni Charge D’Affaires Hassan Masaood thanked the Kingdom of Bahrain for their humanitarian support. He emphasized Bahrain’s role at the forefront of supporting charitable efforts for those less fortunate.
