Liberty University cut from years-long same-sex custody case

Liberty University has been dismissed in a court case regarding an alleged kidnapping after a same-sex relationship was dissolved. The plaintiff filed suit against her former partner and many others for kidnapping her daughter. Liberty was named as a defendant because the former partner accused of kidnapping their daughter was represented by a lawyer who worked for the school.

Liberty University installs 3,000-square-foot videoboard at Williams Stadium

As everyone knows Liberty has been building a new football stadium which includes a new video board. According to this article, the old video board was 700 square feet and the newly installed video board measures 3000 square feet. This is only one of the new renovations to the stadium/campus and it will be four times bigger than the old video board.

This Liberty University senior is trying to grow his own clothes. It just might be the fashion of the future.

Luis Quijano is a student in the FACS program at Liberty who has found a way to make a “leather like” material out of natural resources. With all of the concerns with the environment that have been rising, fast fashion has been a huge deal in the fashion industry and recycling materials/using natural resources is a big deal. Research is even being done with spiders’ webs and DNA to try and imitate silk like material.
