Measure Seventy-Five Times, Cut Once: Further Blood Glucose Meter Testing
Chris Hannemann

Sorry to resurrect this but these articles are seriously terrifying. I was recently diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and started finger pricks 4x per day and managing with diet. That turned into managing with oral meds, all while using the OneTouch Verio monitor. I can accept if I’m doing something incorrect with my diet, but to know that I am doing everything correctly yet still (slightly) higher than range readings with this meter and my doctors have proceeded to medicate me and unborn child on this basis is totally unacceptable. There really needs to be a solution to this.
