Matthias i beg to differ;

You have to physically reside minimum 183 a year in Bulgaria to be a tax resident. Not doing so is considered a tax fraud. Most of OECD countries have the same rules in that regard.

Note that from september 2017 the automatic exchange of information program starts between the OECD countries tax administrations; which means that you potentially expose yourself to tax audits if you are not in compliance. Most people don’t know that but this is a major game changer
