Hello Mona! I really like that your orange almond cookies came from your childhood and memories of enjoying the cake with your mom! I love that this was your inspiration for the cookies! I also really like that you asked your friends what flavor combinations they thought was great! This is a fantastic idea to allow a user input on your cookies. I wish you would have tried the chocolate strawberry cookie as that sounds really good! I also just really like chocolate covered strawberries, so I am kind of partial to this idea! I wonder what would happen if you added almonds to the batter? Or crushed up the almonds and added them to the batter? I think this would have added a stronger almond flavor to your cookie!
