You can apply online by visiting the official website www.immigration.govt.nz and creating an account. Before you plan to travel to New Zealand, you should apply at least six weeks in advance.

Documents required with application:

You need to provide a proof of acceptance in the accredited education provider institute of New Zealand.

Evidence of sufficient funds:

You will also need to show that you have enough money to pay your tuition fees (this may include proof of loan coverage, scholarship or other funding) and while covering the cost of living while studying in New Zealand There is proof of funding for this. If your course is longer than nine months then you need to prove that you have at least $ 15,000 NZD per year.

Proof of onward travel:

To pay for this advance trip, there may already be evidence of advance ticket, proof of further funding or contract from sponsor for payment. The point is to show that after you finish your studies, you intend to leave the country and can afford it.

• Proof of systematic accommodation (if you are under 18 years old)

• A police certificate of “good character” (if you are 17 years or older)

• Two color passport photos

• Valid passports for at least three months from the date of departure of New Zealand
