Time isn’t a renewable resource per person. But there will always be more people.

The same way we use trees for paper the internet uses for our attention, like you said. But we wouldn’t cut down a 6 year old tree for materials. Once you’re 6 years old though your attention is valued as much as anyone else’s.

So the Internet and big companies use our individual un-renewable resource of time. From their angle it doesn’t need to be renewed if it’s never ending…
