A diamond necklace in a bus

Nothing was unusual that day at school. I still don’t like the food. I still doodled during Mr. Harry’s Math class. I still couldn’t get along with anyone in my class. I still couldn’t wait for the bell to ring and ride the bus home. I still didn’t understand why we needed to move to this town. I had a strange feeling about everything in this town.

“Hey boy, get on the bus,” someone shouted. That was the first time I heard Mr. Harold says something. I went to the back of the bus, avoiding people. I don’t talk a lot. I like it quiet. Just me and my thought.

“Pssst.”

“Pssst. Pssst.”

I thought I was alone at the back of the bus, but someone just “Pssst” me. It came from below my seat. I looked closely, and I saw something blinking. I looked closer….it’s a diamond necklace! I took it — out of curiosity — then something strange happened: everyone disappeared…except Mr. Harold!

“It’s your stop, I wish you hadn’t taken that thing, but now you’ve taken something that you might not be able to handle. I can’t help you, but I can give you one advise: find the dark healer, she shall give you the sealer.”

I wasn’t sure what that was about. I got off the bus, and all I could think of was to hug my mom. I thought I saw a house that looked like my house. But it’s not. I looked around. “Where’s everybody? Why does each house have a rusty lock?”

I was in a different world. The only thought I had was: I should find the healer now.
