What about the “unintended” victims caused by the heinous acts of the murderer? What about the family of the person whose life was cut short at the hands of the monster? Should they not receive justice simply because killing a murderer would hurt his/her family? Yes, by all means, let emotions be part of the equation when discussing the death penalty. But let’s not have a one-sided view of “emotions”.
