Google recently made some changes in search result page that makes difficult to distinguish between ads and organic search results.
Only visible difference is Ad in Place of favicon that also looks like favicon.
To avoid the accidental clicks on Ads I a made chrome extension.
And now all search ads looks like this:
You can Customize the highlight color and opacity also. If you don’t want to see the ads than just set the opacity to zero.
