who would ever dare say that Tina Fey is not cool?!

I have a psych background — the operational definition of humor is something like 2 ideas are brought together/manipulated in a way that makes people laugh. and apparently, there are different levels/types of those idea connections, according to intelligence level.

I actually know a guy who studied this as his PhD thesis.

I think funny women are smart women.

and maybe lots of guys aren’t crazy about women taking ideas and manipulating them to produce something wonderful. I bet lots of guys find this too challenging.

But then, who wants those guys anyway? this would be a good way to head off the guys who want to talk and have you listen. and they’re everywhere! ;)

(sorry — didn’t mean to impugne (sp?) those other guys — they just need to recognize what works for them and go after it…)

ie leave those funny women alone — there are guys out there who are crazy about them.
