If we as American citizens, or journalists for that matter, are confused by the intent of Trump’s “jokes”, or “sarcasm”, or whatever he chooses to call it at any given time, are we to expect that every living person in the world outside of the USA will understand that he is “joking”? Can we be guaranteed that a Trump “joke” might lead to trade difficulties, or war?
