Here’s Why I Decided to Take the Digital Marketing Nanodegree Program from Udacity
I had been working as an administrative assistant and consequently a travel consultant since 2008. I realized marketing was in every little thing I did and saw from a very young age and I did not like it. Not one bit.

As my professional career progressed, I decided to take the independent route by becoming an Online Business Manager. Through it, I’m able to apply all the skills and talents I learned from previous work to make my dreams come true and help fulfill the goals and missions of small companies, entrepreneurs, and individuals to share their message and make this world a better place by offering my digital services.
The one thing that I was missing: a comprehensive digital marketing understanding.
It is then that I decide to look for a program that could open the door to the many platforms I needed to master to make my business more valuable. I scrolled through several free options, and many academies until I stumbled upon Udacity.
I had heard of it from a Russian student at a French Language class I was taking in 2012, so I decided to make the leap and sign up! So far, I do not regret it. I’m learning how to create marketing content, how to use social media to deliver and promote a message or an offer and more, as well as email marketing and how to analyze data via Google Analytics.
It is a very substantial educational program that can help you obtain the knowledge to succeed as a digital marketer –according to Udacity’s claims — and it will definitely help you understand the digital marketing ecosystem to impress your boss and team and get paid more!
