Time To Go An Extra Mile:

As I was assigned the activity to go for an in person drop by dropping my cover letter and resume to companies and try to get an interview call. It was really a very helpful activity in order to make us face our fears.

I was supposing to go for in person drop and this was challenging day for me sep 6, 2018 to drop my superhero resume in personal Hospital. I made enough research and got to know about the name of HR as well much information regarding the person who carries the interviews. I did some of the research from online sources and also I used my old connections to explore more and more about that hospital.
I get up at early in the morning, turned on the laptop and started to practice my elevator pitch and updated my cover letter and superhero resume according to the HR Abwa hospital after that put some decent formal clothes and reached at the hospital at 9 o'clock according to the requirements I was just trying to overcome my fear of in-person drop, I was wandering and much confused, how they’re going to react, how I’ll communicate.

As soon as I stepped in the hospital boundary, my aim was to do it for myself. After telling the purpose of visit to security guards and entering some details, they allowed me to enter in the hospital. I Went to the reception. A lady was sitting at the reception. I told her that I’ve come to submit my resume and cover letter, and I want to have a 5 minute meeting with HR. She guided me about the direction of HR. I said Thank you to her and move towards HR office and unfortunately the recruiting officer was busy in meeting, I waited for half an hour outside the office.
After about 30 minutes, I was going inside in the HR office and to have a 5 minutes meeting with HR. Ahmad Zubair. Finally, I entered the room and greeted the man. He asked me to sit. I started talking. At first, I thanked him to manage 5 minutes and then I told him that I’ve come to drop my resume and cover letter for the post of Nutritionist. He checked my superhero resume and cover letter and asked me some questions. Why we are hire you? I answered her very confidently. I also told him my strength and weakness stories. And also tried to convince him to hire me. During my answers, he kept on asking different questions regarding my details.

After that, He said that in the future, if we have a post then I will definitely contact you. I offered he my gratitude and left the hospital by smiling face.
The whole experience was really good. I liked overcoming my fear of being failed. I took risks. And I got good responses in turn. And all this was just because of Amal!
