Introduction

This is a brief tutorial to explain the process of sending Pirl using your Ledger Nano S device.

Pre-Requisites

-Ledger Nano S hardware device.

-Pirl App installed on Ledger device (This can be done via Ledger Live).

-Browser with web access to MyEtherWallet.

Heads up

Many of these steps are contingent on you having your Ledger unlocked and the Pirl app open; so rather than me pointing out all the times this will be necessary, please unlock your Ledger and open the Pirl app first, and make sure it’s still running to prevent issues for the duration of the tutorial. Thanks!

Text Instructions

Ok, once you’ve got the Pirl App installed on your Ledger, you have it unlocked, and you’ve opened the Pirl app, we next:

  • Navigate to www.myetherwallet.com.
  • Select the Pirl Network from the Dropdown on the top right.
  • Click the “Send Ether & Tokens” tab.
  • Click “Ledger Wallet” under “How would you like to access your wallet?”.
  • Click the “Connect to Ledger Wallet” button which appears.
  • Make sure the selected is “m/44'/164'/0'/0” (it should be, by default).
  • Select an address on your device you would like to use to send funds.
  • Click “Unlock your Wallet”.
  • Enter the “To” address and the amount you wish to send.
  • Click “Generate Transaction”.
  • At this point, your Ledger Device will prompt you for confirmation of the transaction.
  • Hit the right button on your Ledger to confirm.

Done!
