January 10th, 2018 Lewisburg Community Development Committee Meeting about Non-Discrimination Ordinance

On January 10th, Cindy Peltier of the Community Zone and Taylor Lightman fro Active Millennials for Progress introduce the idea of a Non-Discrimination Ordinance to Lewisburg Borough Council’s Community Development Committee. This ordinance would extend civil rights to LGBTQIA individuals in the borough. They engage in a robust conversation about the merits, potential drawbacks, community support, and possible ways to enact the ordinance. They discuss the next steps.
