Completed DIY Home Bar Project

Building a Home Bar creates a space in your home that will bring friends and family together and build lasting memories. A home bar can also help you save a considerable amount of money on entertainment as well as keeping folks off the road after having a bit too much fun.

There are many online resources for building a home bar and many options on how to get it completed. Some resources are free, and other sites charge a small fee. The big difference between the free and paid plans is that free tend to be incomplete leaving you half way done with no further instruction.
The free sites also tend to be old reprints of outdated magazine articles.

One paid site that has been around for twenty years is Barplan.com which has a collection of home bar plans for one low price. If money is no object, finding a contractor is also an option but that route could cost many thousands of dollars, but the results would be top of the line.

Either way, free plans, paid plans or contractor, when you convert that unused space into a home bar, you will have a safe, private place to celebrate all of life’s occasions. One final note…alcohol is not required to have a good time at a home bar. I personally gave up drinking years ago and yet our home bar is still the best place to watch football games and celebrate birthdays and the holidays.
