Your success road is centred on you

Welcome to part 4 of discovering your road to success. We are reaching the point where I will be recommending you read or listen to some great material that has influenced me and has helped me on my success road.

Some of the books and resources I will discuss will mention the power of God and the spirit, but there is always room for that in its context. You may not be religious, but you may realize there is a force that is controlling your thoughts and feelings, whether you call this God or not. Whatever your creed, having a connection with this “greater force” can help you to overcome so much. Your belief structure and your life purpose is the key. Your philosophy and values also come into the equation.

It seems that there is less spiritual guidance these days and more emphasis on achievement to obtain material things. When you “connect” with spirituality you can meditate and focus more without the pressure of everything getting in the way. We are stressed often beyond comprehension and meditation and other similar activities can help to relieve this.

Your Success Road Is Constructed From Early Age.

The success road starts from early age

The “pressure” starts from a very young age. Everything is about exams and progress and nothing seems to be about the spiritual health of a child too. You don’t have to be religious in any way to learn how to meditate on something and get out of stress. Children get upset because of the pressure they are put under and this can affect the ability to succeed in some circumstances. Everything is about results. Not enough is put into natural growth, from which better results can emerge.

Health is affected from all angles. Stress is detrimental to health and yet we are subject to it every day. Remember that “whole health” includes the mind, body, and spirit, as they are interconnected. If these three components are healthy within you, you are in good shape at any age.

What does this have to do with success? Good health is paramount to being successful. What is the point of success unless you can enjoy it? Too much stress and pressure is not a good thing.

My Recommendations To Help You On Your Path To Success.

These books are available to read from digital or traditional book form. They can also be found on Audible where they are in audio format. The teaching and the philosophies in these publications are proven to have helped a great number of people and are well worth taking notice of.

They are:

How to Win Friends and Influence People — Dale Carnegie

Think and Grow Rich — Napoleon Hill

The Secrets To The Power Of Intention — Dr Wayne Dyer

I Know What To Do, So Why Don’t I Do It? — Nick Hall

The Secret — Rhonda Byrne (This comes as a movie too featuring people like Bob Proctor, Joe Vitale, John Assaraf and many more)

I would also recommend listening to or reading anything by Tony Robbins.

You may have heard of Bob Proctor, who lives by the teachings of Think and Grow Rich. He carries his copy of the book everywhere he goes and reads it daily. This has been a powerful book for many famous speakers in the personal development industry.

I don’t want to be seen as “preaching”, but I believe that personal development is the reason why I came out of the bad place I was in and have more focus and purpose now. Not all of these will be for you. There are thousands of books out there and one may resonate with you. You will learn something from any or all of these and they will help you to build that path to success if you let them.

May your road to success be a great one. I hope to see you at the destination soon.
