This effort has nothing to do with administration policy on say climate, visas, international relations or anything else you might disagree with. It does have to do with the very ineffective process, procedures, and systems that our federal government continues to fail to improve. Those IT people can and should help our country to have a more efficient, effective, and secure infrastructure in the IT arena. Now if say Apple wants coding in all high schools they are talking to the wrong people. The federal government is not to make such requirements, Apple and others should create a charity to support this worthy goal. He we have a state program to do just that, they would be welcome to come, support it, and replicate it around the country. Anybody who opposes improvement needs to get out of the way and be quiet.
