On the island of Ko Phi-Phi Don, tourists can enjoy the blue seas, party on the sands at night and engage in a number of water activities. Head to the eastern coast of Ko Phi-Phi Don for a more peaceful experience. The beautiful white coves of sand here are much more isolated. No matter what you choose to do at Ko Phi-Phi Don, you’ll leave wanting to come back.

2. Bali

Bali is without a doubt the most impressive of Indonesia’s islands, of which there are more than 17,000. Bali is known as a tropical paradise, and it definitely lives up to that reputation. This vacation destination is not just any beach getaway. While it has beautiful beaches and resorts, the essence of this small island is largely derived from the warmth and generosity of its people. Bali is like many travel destinations in one, with something for everyone. If you want to surf the wild beaches, head to the south. If you want a family-friendly destination, you can visit Sanur. 3. Angkor

Located in northern Cambodia, Angkor is one of the best places in the world to see ancient architecture. Travel here and you’ll be able to see some of the most important cultural remains in the world, such as the Angkor Wat Temple, Ta Prohm and the Bayon temple. Angkor has a rich history, and it served at as the Khmer capital from the ninth to 14 centuries. In this way, Angkor was able to influence art all throughout Southeast Asia.

4. Bagan

If you love historical temples and can’t make it so Angkor, Bagan is a great vacation destination for you. Found on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River in Myanmar, Bagan is home of the largest concentration of Buddhist temples, stupas, and pagodas in the world. From the 9th to the 13th centuries, Bagan was the capital of the First Burmese Empire. Marco Polo once described Bagan as the “gilded city.” In its peak in the 11th century, it was home to about 13,000 Buddhist temples.
