I am also planning to do some work on Android Things. One thing I am not clear is how the Android Things device communicate with the other connected device?

For example in Iotvity the device with IOTVity framework will communicate over internet with other Hue Bulb which has chip with wifi enabled.

I need some details on this, if you have please share.
