Making Waves with Billabong and SDS
We’ve recently partnered with Billabong and Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski on two new exciting projects.
Gaining inspiration from our meeting with their internal team at the SDS headquarters in Australia, we’re proud to announce two new partnerships with Billabong, a global surf and lifestyle company and Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski, Australia’s leading surf, skate and lifestyle retailer. Over the past few months, we’ve been working with both internal teams on two exciting new projects.
























Billabong
We’ve been selected to collaborate directly with their internal direct-to-consumer and marketing teams to help drive a new brand strategy focused on eCommerce and OmniChannel.
“As partners, we’re looking to provide clarity around who Billabong is, by bringing a deeper brand and commerce experience to the new digital platform — one that portrays authenticity, heritage, and alignment with today’s youth culture” said Matt Faulk, BASIC CEO and Executive Creative Director.
The new eCommerce website will be aimed at articulating the culture of the brand while acting as a utility for consumers to purchase products that express themselves. Along with this, we will be working with Billabong to create a platform where content and commerce can live together; one that is brand first, commerce focused and dedicated to an OmniChannel experience.

The new eCommerce website and OmniChannel experience will launch Q1 of 2016.


Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski
In partnership with Billabong, Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski approached us to help elevate their brand presence through a seamless omni-channel eCommerce Platform.
This digital experience will portray the unique personality of the SDS brand, enabling users to easily research and discover new content with a mix of brand, culture and social content curated by the SDS team. All of these elements will be brought into a cohesive experience that is designed to maintain brand consistency across mobile, desktop and retail environments.
