You’re conclusion is just as invalid as the one you disagree with. You’re also just a sample size of one. I get jobs thrown at me weekly because of my degree. CS education really helps as it also kind of a guarantee for companies that you have the right basics. You can learn the same stuff at home, but there is no guarantee that you did.
