Liquidity Staking
Today, basts proposal I: liquidity staking has been successfully passed on block 2315899 with approximately 4300 of 6250 available votes, marking a historical contribution of around 70%! I have created a short staking guide that should help those who haven’t used the DFO dapp yet:
Step 1: Go to dapp.dfohub.com
Step 2: Head over to bast
Step 3: Head over to Defi → Farming
Step 4: Choose a pool to your liking
There are two possible pools, which are different in their reward structure and block duration. For example, pool 1 hast a total lock of 210000 blocks, a reward of 140% and 1000 bast available for staking. To incentivize those who decide to provide liquidity longer, the staking rewards of pool 1 are higher.
Person A wants to stake 10 bast. Person A decides to stake their bast in pool 2. After the duration of 174000 blocks, Person A will have 20 bast less any impermanent loss.
Step 5: Approve your bast
Step 6: Stake your bast
