By not being an US resident or citizen, am I still allowed to state that the 2nd amendment does not make sense (anymore) and should be withdrawn? In my eyes, and in most eyes in many other countries, the right to have and carry a gun is ridiculous… It is the root cause of violence, unnecessary deaths, tragedy and it keeps inequality and racism alive.

The absence of guns in a civil society would prevent these types of discussions and neatly wrapped threads.. But foremost it would prevent (or significantly decrease) awful events such as public shootings, gang shootings and police shootings.

I’ve been in the US many many times and I truly love the country. This second amendment is something that isn’t making America great (again).
