5 reasons to take the Q Coffee Exam ☕️
I just took the Q: a 6-day intensive sensory evaluation that tests a person’s ability to identify and grade coffee based on its aroma, flavor, body, acidity, and aftertaste.
The Q was created by the Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) to provide a consistent and objective method for evaluating coffee quality.
The exam consists of 22 tests covering the knowledge of coffee grading and processing as well as a person’s ability to identify coffee flavors, aromas, and defects.
5 benefits of taking the Q course and exam:
- Improve Your Sensory Skills
You’ll develop your palate and gain a deeper understanding of the unique flavors and aromas found in different types of coffee. This will allow you to create more nuanced and flavorful coffee blends, improve your cupping skills, and identify defects in coffee more effectively.
2. Open Doors In the Coffee Industry
