Oh No, GrubHub/Seamless May Be Evil

I’ve been trying really hard to cut out Grubhub, but every time I’ve tried to order directly via the restaurants it’s either been a nightmare of orders not being submitted, orders being hugely wrong, and, in one very odd case, my order coming from a DIFFERENT RESTAURANT ENTIRELY than the one I thought I was ordering from. The last time I ordered over the phone, the restaurant straight-up lied to me about whether or not they used a specific ingredient that I’m terribly allergic to and I ended up puking all night and had a bunch of leftovers I couldn’t eat.

I feel for these restaurants, I really do, but at least with Grubhub if I’m charged $40 for an order that never shows up or makes me sick because the restaurant mislead me, I can get a refund.
