Sharing 6 tips with your classmate

Sharing Is Caring

Sharing is Caring. This statement is so true. Sharing anything with our family, friends, colleagues and with even strangers makes the both participants happy and builds the strong relationship.

“The more we share, The more we have” Leonard Nimoy

I always find happiness to share my knowledge, my joys, my cheers, my feelings (sad ones)and almost everything with others. It brings happiness and nourishes our relationship and builds trust. The moment I joined Amal Family, I always share with my friends what is happening in the sessions and what I am learning over there and they get to know the Amal Fellowship and Family more. I have explained them and taught them so many things like business writing and cover letter writing and almost everything that I have learned and experienced here so far.

me and my friend we met for this discussion

This time I got the opportunity to involve them into my fellowship experience as this week I got the Project to share the 6 tips from Manage and Maximize your Career Course which are as followings

  1. Do an internship before pursuing a higher degree to confirm if you like that field/industry
  2. Don’t do PhD if you want to be an entrepreneur or work in corporate sector
  3. Spend at least one year in your first job
  4. Put your time in: Everyone starts out doing grunt work till trust is proven
  5. Don’t talk badly about the company or about your boss
  6. Take control of your relationship with your boss and team members

My friend agreed to the most of the these tips which I told to her. She found these tips interesting and useful and in start I have already shared these tips with her so she had something to discuss with me this time. She agreed that these points are all worthy and if we use these tips they can also increases the opportunity of our success in the job and career. She said that these tips are psychologically correct and improves the personality as well as credibility.

She argued on the 1st tip and disagreed to the 3rd one. She said that internship is not a must but is better option as you have to do the practical activities in the higher studies. Regarding 3rd tip she said that it is not a must, if you find your job irrelevant or not comfortable with your interest you can leave the job in less than a year unless there are some financial issues or no other opportunity.

I learned from these tips that these tips are very useful in the successful life and career and I will try to incorporate these tips in my life In Sha Allah.
