The Challenges of Being Black and Atheist

Nice post. Lots to think about. We are similar in some ways, and not in others. It is always good to get new perspectives. I am in the south but not a person of color, I am the mom of a non-binary trans atheist who has extreme social anxiety but who would like to be part of a social group (you might see the problem there). I too would like to be part of a group but atheist groups are problematic for me because the ones I’ve tried are so hateful toward believers, and I want no part of that. I wish you the best in your living and learning.
