I hope and believe you mean the best and sincerest, but the “as a man who’s been afflicted by something (sometimes not really) related to women’s inequality in society” is a thinly veiled way of promoting gender inequality. You don’t need to have been sexually assaulted to be a decent human being towards women. You don’t need to have a penis and an abused female relative to have a say and an excuse for wanting to use that say in whether women should be treated as humans every bit as men are.

I, as a human, agree with CJ’s take on this. Because we’re all human. And we deserve to be treated with equal respect, regardless of our physical appearances and other such traits. We should only ever be judged and punished for not giving that respect to others, be that lack of respect gender or race discrimination or any of the more ‘traditional’ crimes around.
