The Tournament has Started

The tournament mode finally has come to the current Version of Battle of Guardians.

As we take a look at the progress made so far in the demo version of the game, we can see that the development team has put in a lot of effort to ensure that the tournament mode is as engaging and fun as possible. However, it’s important to keep in mind that this is a limited early access demo and there may be some bugs or issues that need to be addressed.

NEW UI !

We are constantly striving to improve every aspect of the game. With that in mind, we are excited to announce the implementation of a new user interface. Players can now explore the game’s menu and see the improvements made from the previous version of Battle of Guardians. The new user interface is designed to enhance player experience and make the game more user-friendly. We encourage you to take a look and discover the changes for yourself.

PVE

In our latest update, we have added a new feature called Training mode under the PVE section. This mode allows players to control both characters, giving them the opportunity to practice and hone their skills before facing other players. This mode serves as an ideal training ground to test different strategies for each character and find the most effective ones. By experimenting with different tactics in the training mode, players can feel confident and prepared when facing opponents in matches.

PVP

Are you looking for a way to play Battle of Guardians with your friends offline? Look no further! In our latest version, we have introduced a PVP Offline Mode. This allows players to engage in battles with other players even when offline, eliminating the need for a stable internet connection. This feature is perfect for those who have trouble with online connections or who just prefer to play with friends in person. With the PVP Offline Mode, you can now enjoy Battle of Guardians with your friends without any worries.

Championship

We are excited to announce a major update for Battle of Guardians, as we have been working hard to bring a variety of changes to the game. One of the most significant additions is the release of the Championship mode in the current demo version of the game. This mode allows players to compete against others from all around the world, which will help to grow and expand the game’s community. We hope that this new mode will provide an exciting and challenging experience for our players and bring them together in a global competition.

Updates

In the previous version, only admin could create a Championship and only two players could participate. However, in this new version, players will be able to create their own Championship with varying numbers of participants such as 4 and 8 players.

We would like to inform our valued users that the 16 and 32 player tournaments are currently being developed and fine-tuned. Rest assured, our team is working hard to ensure that these tournaments are of the highest quality and offer an enjoyable experience for all players. We ask for your patience and understanding as we finalize these features and prepare to release them in our next version.

Create Championship

To begin competing in a Championship, players must first create a Championship room. They can do this by selecting the Championship button and then choosing the desired number of players. The player will then have the option to either create or join a Championship.

If they choose to create a Championship, they will be presented with a configuration menu where they can set the parameters of the Championship. Once they have finished configuring the Championship, they can select the Continue button to proceed.

In the Championship configuration, players can set the following parameters:

Round: The maximum number of rounds to be played in a single match.
Time: The maximum amount of time for a single match.
Start Time in Minute: The maximum starting time for the Championship. This setting affects the waiting time in the Championship room before the tournament begins. If the room is full, the tournament will start automatically. If the room is not full, the Championship room will be closed.
Room Name: Players can name their Championship room.
Password: Players can set a password for their Championship room so that only players who know the password can join.
Stage: Players can choose the map where the matches will be played.

If you are the player who created the Championship room, and the room is full, a Continue button will appear below the chat box. To start the Championship, press the Continue button when you are ready and the Championship will begin.

Join Championship

If you want to participate in a Championship created by another player, you can do so by selecting the Join Championship button after choosing the desired number of players.

This will display a list of available Championship rooms that you can join. If a room has a password set, you will need to enter the correct password to gain access to the room.

Once you have entered the correct password, you will be able to join the Championship room.

Championship Room

After joining or creating a Championship, players will be placed in the Championship room. In this screen, players can view information about the other players participating in the Championship. While waiting for the tournament to start, players can chat with other players who have joined the room using the chat box.

Championship Bracket

Before the gameplay begins, a bracket displaying the matches and player’s points will appear. During the tournament, players will stay in the Championship bracket while they wait for their next match.

Winner of The Championship

Once the Championship ends, the player who wins will be directed to a winner screen.

Reconnect Feature

Are you experiencing any issues with maintaining a connection to the game? If so, the current version of the game offers a Reconnect Feature that allows players to reconnect to the game if they get disconnected. This feature is designed to make the game more accessible to players who may have been disconnected due to internet connectivity problems or other technical issues.

However, in order to ensure fair play for all players, the game has implemented a measure to prevent cheating by resetting the character’s position to the default location upon reconnection. This means that if a player reconnects to the game, their character will be placed back at the starting point or a predefined safe zone, rather than allowing them to return to their previous position. This ensures that no player has an unfair advantage over others.

We have made some improvements in this version, including changes to the characters available in the game. Some characters were removed from the last version to focus on balancing development for each character.

In this version, all the characters do not have any special skill as the team is still working on refining them. However, players can still enjoy 30 characters, each with their own unique movements.

Lunar New Year Character

Additionally, three special characters with a Lunar New Year theme, specifically the Year of the Rabbit, have been added to the game. These characters feature special details that reflect the Lunar New Year theme.

Splash Screen

In this version of the game, players will be greeted with the splash art of the Lunar New Year characters on the splash screen. When players open the game for the first time, the splash screen will randomly display one of the three Lunar New Year characters.

We strive to provide high-quality content for our supportive and loyal community, which is why we are constantly working on improving the game. In this version, some maps have been removed for further improvement, and we are working to optimize all maps.

Display & Graphic Setting

We care about the comfort of our players while playing Battle of Guardians. So we have listened to our players’ feedback and now provide the option to adjust the graphics for their devices to ensure smooth gameplay, even on devices with minimum requirements.

Resolution: Choose the resolution that works best for you.
Full Screen Mode: Choose to play in full screen mode.
Overall Graphic: Choose the graphic quality that is appropriate for your device.
Render Scale: Choose a render scale value that works for you.
Anti-Aliasing: This mode will affect the character and map quality.

Controller Setting

To allow players to play offline with other players, we have developed controller configuration options. These options can be accessed through the settings menu.

Keyboard Setting

In the settings menu, players can customize their keyboard bindings as they desire. If they wish to return to the default bindings, they can do so by pressing the reset button in the player configuration section. Please be aware that currently, configuration changes can only be made using a mouse and keyboard. However, we are working on making the process easier for you in the future
