A Note To Myself

I don’t know if anyone happens to read this; I am just writing this to remind myself that obstacles in life is okay and happiness would not exist without hardships, because I have been forgetting this lately. Once I was just a little boy who didn’t bother to care who I wanted to be in life. That is because I did not have any goals in and expectations from life, and I was happy most of the time. Well, other times I just did not have enough candy and stuff. As I grew up, I started realizing everyone was up to something. Sometimes they were up to a new house, a nice car, other people’s admiration, popularity, finding god or quenching their thirst for science. Whatever they were doing, it seemed to me that, one time or another, everyone had struggles. If they were not up to anything, of course, there would be no obstacles and struggles to go through. But it is impossible to want nothing. I don’t discuss why that is because, we all know, it is in our human nature and social structure. So I set up goals as everyone else did, and I have been experiencing some tough parts of that road to get there. It is, as though, like climbing a lofty mountain as the pick being your goal. If you give up on the way, you will always be on that bottom hill and overshadowed by that top of the mountain you never reached. I believe that life is all about the journey to the pick and not necessary about whether you reach it, and struggling is as essential as enjoying how far you came. If you are going through hard times, just remind yourself this.
