Home of the immigrants
Around the world there are many families leaving their country to live in the United States, which for them is also known as the land of opportunities. Families have come to the U.S. for the sake of a better life than they lived in their country. They bravely risk their own lives and safety. Not to mention, they also come here so they can provide a better life for their kids. They get here hoping to find a job right away so they can maintain their families back home. In addition, there are many safety issues because of gangs and drug trafficking. They manage with loneliness and isolation; they go through all kinds of difficulties in their lives just hoping that they might find a better life in this country.
To begin with, in most countries there is a small amount of working jobs with extremely low income, which makes it hard to pay for bills at home and maintain the family. Many people risk their lives trying to cross the border so they can have a better life for everyone. Crossing the border can either kill you or save you. Jobs in the U.S. are much different than the ones in a family’s hometown. The jobs might not be ideal, but one can’t get out of it, because it’s what keeps dinner at the table for them. According to an article on Top 10 it states, “Every second person wants to go to America, be it for education, job, and career or just for the sake the pursuing dream.” Many of these “immigrant” families view the United States as the “land of opportunities” because it gives them more options that they did not have back at home. Therefore, one can picture what life was for them.

Additionally, most people start leaving their homes for lack of money, food, jobs, etc. They start heading to the U.S. to find a better job with a higher pay so they can send money to their loved ones. From time to time, there are kids who have to leave school because their parents can’t afford to send them anymore, and that way they can start working as well, bringing money to the house. Of course parents don’t approve of it, but they don’t have many options they can pick from. In many cases what happens is that kids start to work at a young age which makes them lose interest in school. Their mindset changed based on the fact that the only decision they had was to leave school and keep their family whole.

Lastly, most people want to get out of their country due to the fact that there are a handful of gangs, violence, and drug trafficking. Most parents want to get their kids away from this type of behavior because it will only influence them to do the same. In many countries, drug traffickers take young children away from their parents to work for them and if they deny doing something they get kidnapped by the dealer, crucially punished, or in worst case scenario they end up being murdered along with their families. In other words, it isn’t safe for anybody to stay around the area because you never know what may happen.

In conclusion, many immigrants come to the United States for a cause not just because they want to. They come for hope of a better job and simply to give their kids a better life or to support their loved ones back home. These people are hard workers and it’s sad to see them have to leave their home towns because they don’t feel safe enough. Hopefully, one day everyone can come together and get treated equally as one nation, and not get discriminated by their race, color or ethnicity.
