If you plan to visit Sumatra the weather can be an exception. It rains from October to January in the north part of the country and November to February in the south. Sulawesi, another destination in Indonesia also experiences a slightly different weather rainfall pattern. It rains in the month of June and July here.

Overall, the best time of year to visit Indonesia is between the month of May and September when the sun is up and shining bright giving a warm welcome with dry days.
