I had this problem too, albeit less intense, and this app helped me out.

Alarmy is an alarm app on android that doesn’t stop yelling at you till you take a picture of a predetermined object. In my case, it’s my bathroom sink.

The point is that it forces me to walk all the way to the bathroom, unlock my phone and take a picture, effectively waking me up.

Sometimes the app malfunctions, or the picture I take doesn’t exactly match the picture I’m supposed to take. So I have to take multiple pictures before I satisfy it. This is frustrating, of course, but only adds to the effectiveness of the app!
