Assuming that LeBron is opting out next season, would a three way deal including New York, Cleveland and Boston make sense? Kyrie and Love land in New York, Boston receive Porzingis, while Cleveland receive Melo, Crowder and O’Quinn. Boston’s bevy of future picks are distributed between Cleveland and New York in a manner that is agreeable to all parties. The Knicks and Boston get better while Cleveland gets its future back. LeBron may even be disgruntled enough by the move to waive his no trade clause and Cleveland could receive even more future-centric pieces in a deal with the Lakers.
