1. What made your Bayland home the right choice for you?
I was referred by my friend Tony who told me to have a look at Bayland properties. Pricing was definitely a big selling point along with the location. Another factor was that there were only six homes on the block. The location was also appealing.
2. How did the other properties you were looking at fail to meet your requirements?
I went to auctions in the area and after not finding the right property, buying off the plan with Bayland made more sense. The price was more attractive with Bayland too.
3. How would you describe your experience buying your home with Bayland?
Good. Everyone throughout the process was very quick at providing feedback when needed. I was kept in the loop and updated.
4. Would you recommend a Bayland home to a friend/family member?
Yes. I would recommend buying with Bayland to friends and family due to the affordability and how pleasing the team was to deal with. Everyone was very cooperative. Having updates on a regular basis helped, rather than flying blind.
5. Is there anything Bayland could do to improve in the future?
No.
1. What made your Bayland home the right choice for you?
We were new in the market. It was the right size of home in the perfect location. The most appealing feature was the price.
2. How did the other properties you were looking at fail to meet your requirements?
We looked at other properties; in Chadstone the same size townhouses, and we looked at apartments around Southland, but we chose Bayland because we got a townhouse with some land. We got the maximum amount of land within our budget. There are lots of people coming from Europe, they will only buy apartments in the city. I have lived in apartments all my life, but only in the city. If you buy in the outer suburbs, you must buy something with land.
This was the only option for us. We looked at 3 other townhouses and they didn’t have the land Bayland offers at the price we paid. This gave us the opportunity to have a BBQ with friends, we wanted at least 80sqm to 100sqm.
3. How would you describe your experience buying your home with Bayland?
Easy. Helpful, even Tim was great with the finance. Absolutely very, very helpful. Speaking with Chris — he was all sunshine.
4. Would you recommend a Bayland home to a friend/family member?
Yes, absolutely.
5. Is there anything Bayland could do to improve in the future?
The design could be improved. Things like bathroom features, timber flooring is a must, upgrade the kitchen appliances as a standard. The A/C system couldn’t even be found online. Little things can make a difference. Like concrete should be coloured, not painted and slippery.
1. What made your Bayland home the right choice for you?
For me, it was the numbers. I was chasing a 5% return and that is what it turned out to be. This property was great value for money and it fit my investment model. Also, the location was ideal — 300m from the beach and train station.
2. How did the other properties you were looking at fail to meet your requirements?
This worked better than any others I was looking at in terms of what I was looking for.
3. How would you describe your experience buying your home with Bayland?
No drama, you have enough people in your business that know what they’re doing in order to help you out with the whole process. You are connected enough to make the process easy. This was much easier than my last investment property purchase! It’s been a great experience. This is property number 5 for me, so you’re talking to someone with a lot of experience.
4. Would you recommend a Bayland home to a friend/family member?
Yes, I certainly would. It does come down to price point, but also you have the right people doing the right things. You guys control what you’re doing and deserve to be doing as well as you are. I see lots of Bayland properties going up. It’s great to see.
5. Is there anything Bayland could do to improve in the future?
Nothing stands out.
6. How was your experience with the builder?
Good, no worries. Paul was the supervisor and it was a good experience. We were away overseas for a lot of it and there were no dramas. Even pre-settlement, seeing that someone had already looked over the property and marked up defects with tape. What a pleasant entry it was. Someone saw problems and fixed them first.
