For the longest time, I believed that Riot simply doesn’t want to deal with the blowback from enforcing regulations on their most popular player personalities and stable LCS team owners for the sake keeping appearances.
Now, I’m convinced that it’s simply down to favoritism.
With player salary figures being disclosed and considering Riot’s favoristic enforcement of its regulations, I wouldn’t be surprised if they fined everyone who made such a disclosure, claiming a conspiracy to ruin the integrity of the LCS.
