Why You Never Hear from Your Loan Officer After Closing

When most people close on a loan, they will never hear from that loan officer ever again. It’s really quite sad. They’ll go through a 30-day process with somebody who knows all of the intimate details of all their finances, but they will never hear from them the day after closing.

That is the norm we’re trying to break.

We’re a different kind of lender.

As a lender who really does care about our clients, we try to help you manage your debt for as long as you have it.

Oftentimes, the home and its mortgage are the two biggest assets and the two biggest liabilities a person will ever have. Helping somebody achieve that and then walking away should be considered malpractice.

We stick with you when things change.

After closing on your home, things change: new babies, home improvements, job situations, or finances. People always have questions about the options for their home, their mortgage, and their equity. A good, reputable lender will still be there during those times, whether it’s a day after closing or 10 years after closing.

Ask this question.

One way you can tell if a lender really is going to stick around is ask them how often you will hear from them. Ask how often you can expect to hear from them. If you do this after your loan has closed, most loan officers will be shocked at the question. They won’t know how to answer it. We will!

Good lenders are going to treat their clients like friends that they’ve just recently met. They don’t ever want to part ways because that’s not what you do with friends.

If you have questions about lenders, the loan process, mortgage debt, or anything else to do with home financing, hit us up. You can call 205–986–4220, connect with us on social media, or ping our website. We are happy to help you in any way we can.
