Great post, Christina. Re your point about Empathy and Context, I could not agree more with you. We like to say that if you are in pursuit of incremental innovation then user-focused empathy is sufficient. But if you are going after something more X (insert your favorite word for BIG innovation), then your gaze should be redirected to the “system” or Context. I am curious about your distinction between Empathy and Compassion. Can you say more?
