The world is a conglomeration of actions — good, bad, indifferent. We’re wired to forget the good and remember the bad, from a time when danger was everywhere. Our brains see tragedy occur right before our very eyes (even though it really happened hours ago and hundreds of miles away) and warns us that the danger is still there. But our brains are deceiving us, for we still help others when we see their need, and others help us when they see our need. As quickly as it is forgotten, its is more real than what we see on TV. We are what makes it real.
