New rules to run Facebook pages

The social networking giant is going to introduce some new rules on the Facebook page. Facebook said in a statement on Friday.
According to the new rules, Facebook pages that have a lot of audiences or followers need to be sure about their location. If not, the page administrators cannot publish any new posts.
The company has given notice to those accounts which are under the new rules since Friday. As soon as the notice is received, the corresponding pages will have to go through the extra authorization process. Users have to prove their location for several weeks after the location service is turned on. It also has to implement two-factor authentication.
Users will be able to know if the authorization process is being processed. About this new change, Facebook Product Marketing Director Emma Rogers said, “Our objective is that educators can not post anything from a fake account.”
However, Facebook does not specify how many followers should be on the page to be included in this new rule. However, those pages are in the United States, initially, those pages are included in this rule. However, this new rule is not applicable to verify Facebook pages.
The rule was launched to prevent misinformation from spreading suspicious accounts through social networks.
But Emma Rogers did not confirm whether the new rules would be introduced in the US. He said, after the initial launch, the next decision will be taken after the results.
