I once read an article about how modern men are basically trained to hate women.

The Cliff’s Notes version is that we are raised with images of women as decoration, the persistent idea in fiction that the good guy “gets” the girl (as if a woman is a prize or a reward for saving the world), and the persistent, toxic idea that “boys will be boys” — that male sexuality is wild and untamed and somehow there’s nothing that can be done about it.

It’s this mentality that causes far too many guys to simply break when their privileged position is challenged by a woman who doesn’t meekly stand around looking pretty.
